Account & security

Your companion lives behind your account — one account, the same companion across the app, web, and every other surface. Here’s how to create one, how to sign in, and how to keep it safe.

Create your account

Sign up at weside.ai. New accounts start free with a welcome credit and built-in AI, so you can begin without configuring anything. After signing up, a short three-step onboarding asks for your name and the tone you prefer, then lets you pick a first companion — and you’re in. The Quickstart walks through the whole path.

If you forget your password, use the forgot password link on the sign-in screen to get a reset email.

Sign-in options

You can sign in three ways:

  • Email and password — the classic. Create one at sign-up, change it any time.
  • Google — sign in with your Google account.
  • Apple — sign in with your Apple ID.

All three lead to the same account. If you start with Google or Apple, you can still set an email password later from account settings.

Keep your account secure

From account settings in the app you can manage everything about your access:

  • Change your email or password.
  • Review connected accounts — the Google or Apple sign-in linked to your account.
  • Export or delete your data — take a copy of what weside holds for you, or remove your account and its data entirely. See export & delete.
