Trust isn’t a claim, it’s a set of choices you can check. These are four of them — decisions weside made on purpose, that you can verify rather than take on faith.
Prepaid, not a cost trap
Section titled “Prepaid, not a cost trap”Every action your companion takes draws from a prepaid credit balance, and the price is shown before it happens — never a meter running silently in the background. There’s no way to rack up a surprise bill; when your balance runs out, usage stops until you top up. See plans & credits for how the plan and credit system fits together.
Not built to hook you
Section titled “Not built to hook you”No streaks, no dopamine loops, no pestering. A companion, not a slot machine. Nothing here is designed to keep you opening the app out of habit rather than because you want to, and no daily-login pressure is used to manufacture a reason to come back.
EU-only, if you want it
Section titled “EU-only, if you want it”You can run your companion entirely on EU infrastructure — the model, the database, and memory embeddings all routed to providers based in the EU, GDPR-compliant by construction rather than by policy document. This is a setting you control, not a default we ask you to trust. See residency & regions for exactly how the routing works and which providers are available.
Nothing hidden
Section titled “Nothing hidden”Everything your companion remembers about you is visible in the app — no shadow profile, no memory you can’t see or reach. You can export it or delete it whenever you want, and per-user isolation means no one else’s companion can ever see it either. See export & delete for how to do both.
